They are most definatley not the same. The areas that changed were, the power supply, the pre-amplifier/filter and the power amplifier.

Power Supply
As we have said elsewhere Dynamik PSU's were about 5 years in development. Inevitabley as improvements were found in that projects, we tried to capture these improvements in the other projects going through design at that time. When were developing the Bass Reinforcement amplifier module, we knew the Dyanamik sounded great and the power Supply used in the Majik 126 uses most, if not all of the Dynamik updates. At the time we did not promote the Sizmik "updates" featuring Dynamik, simply because we had not decided to do Dynamik, the name would have meant nothing.

Pre-Amplifier
A phase inverse function was also added to the pre-amplifier/filter stage to make positioning simpler.

Power-Amplifier
The power amplifier stages were also changed, when the Sizmik was being developed the Klimax Twin topology was the best technology to deploy, when the Majik, Akurate and Klimax Bass Reinforcement Speaker updates were being implemented, Chakra Power stages were the best technology to deploy.

Performance
As part of the verification process, the Sizmik 10.25 was compared in a Tune Dem against the Majik 126, the Majik 126 was demonstrabley better.

1st Launched in early 2001, Sizmik 10.25 and 12.45 featured a power amplifier drived from Klimax twin, a power supply derived from AV5125 and the pre-amplifier included a phase inversion.

Updated in the summer of 2005, Chakra power was introduced, phase switch was removed. The power supply remained unchanged.

Most rescently updated to feature, Chakra Power, Dynamik PSU benefits and Phase inversion.
