The 12 inch HAND FINISHED Linn Ittok tonearm was first made for cutting master discs which will give you some idea of how accurate the tracking is. Linn enthusiasts heard about this arm and persuaded Linn to make some for them. In all LESS THAN TWENTY of these were ever made and I am not sure how many were for the record industry and how many for private buyers. The point is that this makes this as rare as it gets, I have only ever seen one before and if you want one of these do not miss this opportunity.
The above information came from Linn technical support in Scotland.
This particular arm is unused and has NEVER been mounted on a turntable, which is why I did not want to assemble it for the images. The original owner bought two of these arms and this one never got used. Because it has not been used there is little point in more images as there is nothing to show. However if genuinely interested prospective bidders need more images just let me know your email address.
Because less than 20 of these were made Linn never invested in printed packaging or a mounting template. The 12 inch Ittok packaging was modified for use and as the end users of these were professionals it was understood they would know how to mount the arm.
Någon som hört denna? Låter det bättre än allt annat från den tiden kan man ju undra...? Någon som vet lite kul info kanske?
