Tjenis!

"What is the correct tracking weight for my Linn cartridge?
The optimum design tracking weight for Linn cartridges (at 20 degrees centigrade) ranges between 1.5 and 2.0g - see list below for specific cartridge ranges. Bias should be set the same as tracking weight. Please Note that temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees C can affect tracking weight by as much as +/-0.2g. Listening tests should be conducted at normal room temperature to determine the optimum weight.
We do however strongly advise that the fitting and adjustment of a tonearm & cartridge should be carried out by your Linn retailer. There is much more to this procedure than simply adjusting the weight and if improperly done will at best reduce sonic performance and at worst may permanently damage your equipment (tonearm, cartridge, turntable etc). See the relevant area of our website at www.linn.co.uk/buy_linn/instructions.cfm for advice on installing and setting up your tonearm and cartridge."

Arkiv (original) = 1.55 - 1.75g
Arkiv B = 1.8 - 2.0g
Asaka = 1.5 - 1.7g
K5, K9, K18 = 1.5 - 2.0g
Karma = 1.5 - 1.7g
Klyde = 1.55 - 1.75g
Trak = 1.5 - 1.7g
Troika = 1.5 - 1.7g
