Hello I used to play DS1 through Klimax kontrol. But now changed to use the volume control of DS1 and bypass Klimax Kontrol. Does anybode know if this should be better or worse? I did not notice any diffenrece so far, but will listen carefully tonight. |

You will probably get different answers depending on who you ask, so better find out yourself as you intend to do. I used to play my Klimax DS1 through my Kontrol before I switched to a Klimax DSM Katalyst and I have never looked back since. The DSM even digitizes the signal from my LP12/Kandid. Modern digital technology can produce less noise and distortion than is possible with analog circuitry, if perservation of the recorded signal is what you appreciate listening to music. /mats |
