Hi to all and especially the CMS DI owners,

a quite large software update is available for all CMS DI's with serial
<975037.

The facts:
• Setup menus have been improved.
• Lip-sync facility added.
• Data disc user interface has been improved.
• Handling for AAC stream type added
• New improved ‘UNIDISK’ style displays.
• Able to play MP3 while showing JPEGS.
• Improved control of MP3 discs.
• Track selection now available while tray is open.
• When the unit is brought out of standby using the eject key, it will
power up and eject the disc.
• Noise when eject is pressed on non-disc source has been corrected.
• Video format can now be changed from the handset.
• Press/hold the DISPLAY key until video format display is shown, then
each press/release of the DISPLAY key will select the next video format
(direct access is available via the VIDEO ADJUST command for Pronto’s
etc.).
• Midnight movie selection and Dolby ProLogic II selection via the
handset.
• When surround mode is displayed and ASMIX is selected, a press/hold of
the SURROUND key will enter Dolby ProLogic II selection mode. Each
subsequent press of SURROUND will select the next available Dolby
ProLogic II mode.
• While the normal disc interface display is shown, a press/hold of the
SURROUND key will enter Midnight Movie selection mode. Each subsequent
press of SURROUND will toggle midnight movie on and off.

So give your Linn dealer a visit and enjoy the new features. A great
product just got greater. I've been really waiting for some of this
improvements.
